Randeep Hooda is an Indian actor who has just released his new movie, Fitoor. The movie follows the story of Porus, an Indian soldier, and his forbidden romance with the daughter of Hari Singh Nalwa, a noble Jat farmer who gives up everything for Porus' love. Bollywood movies are known to be high budget movies that take months or years to produce. For this reason alone Hollywood does not compete in the Indian film industry. Randeep Hooda was cast for a movie called, Fitoor. The movie is about a Jat Soldier named Porus and his forbidden love with a noble girl named Asma. Fitoor is a story of forbidden love in the backdrop of the Mughal empire. The most amazing aspect of this movie is that Johnny Lever has played Randeep Hooda’s role in camera. It was not an easy task for him even though he had to play Randeep Hooda's role through few cameras, he said he enjoyed the experience because every single gesture remained true to his personality. He started his career as an actor with "Mr. India" in the year 1987. However, most of his career has been spent in television, where he played a role in "Junoon", a soap opera which was based on the life of the Mughal Empress Mumtaz Mahal. He has also acted in many other hit TV shows such as "Har Ghar Kuch Kehta Hai", "Krishna Arjun", and "Chandrakanta". I enjoyed shooting for Fitoor because it gave me an opportunity to showcase my versatility as an actor," says Hooda. “As for me, acting is all about living the part and I am sure that this film will show some different facets of my personality," he adds. During this time he also did a short film "Khandan" where he played the role of Dinesh. He is married to actress Chaya Singh, who he has worked with in "Khandan" and in the Hindi film "Saturday".. His daughter Farah Hooda is an actor. Randeep’s sister-in-law is actor Anu Aggarwal. He has worked with his wife in several movies including "Khandan". The media wrote positive views for this movie saying it's refreshing to see a combination of love story told without any cliches. The background score and music was great. The one who like love stories must watch this movie.The film turned out to be a surprise hit at the box office. It collected around 10 crores from satellite rights.
